When St. Louisans meet each other for the first time, “What high school did you go to?” is often the only question asked. High schools in St. Louis, like much of the city itself, tend to be categorized by ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic background. What the question really asks is, “Which part of the city do you represent?”
But this represents us all… doesn’t it?
